The film opens with Steve Lemos using a prosthetic hand in everyday life. That personal perspective introduces the larger technical question: how can robots learn to handle objects with the dexterity of a human hand?

Our production brings together interviews, real-world use and robotics footage. The finished film connects those perspectives with close views of the Ability Hand and ABB’s GoFa robot, giving the explanation something concrete to point to.
